This is just a great idea to be able to change the key code. If you are gone and want to leave a key for the neighbor you change the lock to the key the neighbors have and you are good to go. When you return you change the lock code again to your original key that they never had. Great idea. Highly recommend. Easy, easy to install. It works and was pretty straight forward to install. Now that I have owned it for a few years my main complaint is that the feel of the door knob mechanism is really cheap. Using the thumb button on the outside of the door makes you feel like you are using a three dollar gate latch. It just feels "tinny" and cheap. It is not a solid and smooth action on the latch mechanism.
