I did have one problem with one of them though...it actually re-keyed itself after about 2-3 months of use! Because I no longer had the receipts I just started leaving it unlocked when I was not at home... I called customer service today- explained the situation. They are sending me out a new lock cylinder pretty much no questions asked- I think I was on the phone all of 2 minutes. I've liked it so much that I'm getting another for the back door. It is very sturdy feeling and the ability to change the keying on the lock is really easy and amazing. It allowed me to get just the front door lever first without changing my other locks and now I can add the second door again.I went to the local hardware store and compared it with lots of other levers from many manufacturers. The Kwikset re-keying feature for a good price made it the winner over some other manufacturers. On the front door, I also was able to get a matching deadbolt without re-keying. The reason I chose this lock over other Kwikset locks is that the lever is a bit thicker with smooth edges. It doesn't have sharp edges and is easy to grip. The action is very smooth.
