I love these door handles! They not only look great and are sturdy, not flimsy like some can be. The deadbolts are easy to turn.

This Kwikset Entry Door set is wonderful. It was easy to install, works great, looks gorgeous and seems extremely heavy duty and secure. Those alone are reasons to purchase this set, but the BEST feature is the Smart-Key function, which allowed me to reset the lock to accept my previous key to open it with. I have all of my external locks keyed the same, including garage and shed, so the ability to continue to use the same key as before was heavenly! It took me about 30 seconds to reprogram the lock to accept my old key. Sweet!

We bought this door handle to replace a previous, similar, Kwikset handle. The old one was brass and held up well for many years but it was time to change to the darker bronze color. The folks at Kwikset have come up with an ingenious method to rekey the new lock to match your old key so you don't have to carry another key or pay a locksmith to change the lock for you. Good quality, good installation instructions, nice fit and finish.

I have replaced all of the locks in my apartment building with Smart Key locks and in one year eliminated my locksmith budget. The previous year we spent almost $700 on rekeying locks after tenants moved out or lost keys. I have not had a single problem with any of the locks and have rekeyed them myself (in under a minute) many times. They have, so far, stood up to the abuse of our tenants brilliantly.
Aside from the great re-keying Smart Key feature, these locks are the first I've encountered (and I've installed a lot of locks) that seems to be designed for a do-it-yourselfer, not a locksmith. They are very, very easy to install and take about a tenth of the time to install than the average door knob and lock set.

I was tired of my rinky-dink front door knob and finally jumped in with this beautiful set. My wife and I really like the rustic bronze finish as there are not many sets out there like it. It was relatively easy to install after taking out the old set. As with most things like this you may have to do a little tweaking to get it set just right, which I did. We did not drill a hole through the door for the bottom connection and it works fine. It was pricey, about $150, but I think a worthwhile investment in my home and appearance as you enter our house.

I am very impressed with the quality of this handle set. The Smart Key feature is ingenious! Do not worry about damaging or making the handleset/lock irrepairable. The rekey sequence is very simple and very straight forward. Just read the directions. I replaced all my doors with this type of system and it took about 15 seconds to rekey each new lock. These handlesets and locks are extremely difficult to find at you local stores now, but Amazon had all of them and at excellent pricing too.

Lifetime mechanical warranty. 5 year finish warranty. How to determine the hand of a door: The hand of a door is always determined by facing the outside of a door. If the hinge is on the left side of the door, the door is left handed (LH). If the hinge is on the right side of the door, the door is right handed (RH). To order a handed product, specify LH or RH. I bought these for a french door style bathroom door. They work great and match the set on all my other doors. My only complaint would be the price. to put one on each side of the doors costs about the same as a full handle set even though there are a lot less parts and should be easier to make.

I converted my entire home with new Kwikset exterior locks, hall lock sets, bedroom sets etc. and dummy handles. The lock are well made and work smooth to lock or unlock. There is a difference between lock companies engineering. One feature of the exterior locks is the capability to rekey all your locks yourself in a matter of minutes. They supply you with a thin metal key that you insert in a tiny slot and insert the key (Kwikset) that you want this lock to respond to and walla, its now keyed to the new key. In my case, I had three exterior locks, front door, garage door and outside garage door and in less than five minutes, all three now used the same key. This previously was a job for the big box store where purchased from at a cost for each lock. Best thing I like is how they work, nice and smooth.
